ZAiA

Since August 2007, this is the second time I’ve visited the Venetian Macao Hotel in my lifetime, and this time, apart from witnessing the official opening of the Macao Fourseason Hotel, I joined other media to attend the latest performance of Cirque du Soleil -ZAiA.

To cut things short here is a picture of the ZAiA theather at its entrance froyer.  For more information, you can log on www.venetianmacao.com.

A quick flashback

Wow!  It didn’t strike me that it was ages ago since I last log in here to update my blog >_< until now of course.

I must apology for those who didn’t know, here’s a quick flashback of why I had been away for a long time:

first, I got so fed up with my way to laid back working environment at the beginning of the year that I nearly quit my job.  God knows, when I was about to hand in  my resignation letter, my boss asked me to take over the group in April.

I worked super duper hard to upgrade the team spirit and tried to motivate them to become more productive.  Of course, there were all sorts of troubles, quarrels, but no fights (i think fight would be easier to solve the situation when words and theory and logic don’t seem to work).  but no, I got a injured my ankle near the end of April.  what a joke right? then I had to put on a cast for 2 months while busy visiting the hospital for check outs and went back to the office to attend to whatever that required my attentions.

blah blah blah….goods and bads.  I went back to work in July, and started to go traveling for outstation assignment, just come back from Macao a week ago. as for my work place…there are 3 new workers joining out team, it’s getting more exciting and well :) who knows heeheh that’s the challenging and fun bit I think :P that nobody knows what’s going to happen on the next day~~

Happy happy CNY!

Wishing you all a very Happy & Prosperous Chinese New Year!!!!

Yes!  From tomorrow onwards I’ll be off, but I have to go back to office on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year(CNY).  This year, since my parents and siblings are going to visit China on the 1st day of CNY, so :P don’t expect me to sit at home and waiting for you to show up eheheh :D instead, I’ll be going out (I guess) and hopefully getting some ang pao still ahhaha

Here are some photos taken by me recently, hope you like it and :) yup, for those you aren’t in KUching, our cat put on a new CNY outfit ^_^ Gong Xi! Gong Xi!

Hello Kitties!

Mi_mi
I’m not an ardent fan of cat, nor that it has never come across my mind that one day, I’ll fall in love with this small animal.  However, guess that god must another plan for me when he delivered "Mi Mi" to my uncle’s house 4 months ago and gave birth to a black kitten "Meow".

I’ve been acting as a guidance to "Jessie" and "Oh Oh"  for as long as I could remember, now "MiMi" and "Meow" are newly added members on my "Pet" list.  I have never closely observe how cats play, live and eat, etc. So it was interesting for me to see "MiMi" and her kitten enjoying their mother-daughter sweet time together — be it a "Judo" or a "sunbathing" session.

Jessie2
Yeah, the old tenants — Jessie & Ohoh, used to "raise" their objections with those two new "immigrants" to their house.  Later on, we were surprised to find them get along well together as long as we pretend we don’t see them fighting ahahha JK :P

Meow
I have no experience in raising cats, so I have been treating them the way I treat dogs, except for feeding them fish instead of chicken, and I showered "Meow" once a week.

(Above pix: Meow is now 4mths & 4 days old)

Sunbathing
A few weeks ago, I tried to give "MiMi" a showered, but she was totally freaked out, so I figured she must not have taken any shower in her entire lifetime before she met me :P too bad~~ so I had no choice but to banish the idea of giving her another shower.

"Meow" on the other hand, is used to having shower now, while "Jessie" and "OhoH" are also getting used to having two new tenants.

Recently, "MiMi" gave birth to another four kittens — three of them resemble the colour of "Meow" while the smallest (body size) one bears her mother’s colour.  I’m not sure what’s going to happen next to this "big pet family" with different "family background", just say I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Fashion show

Img_7099
The last few days I basically "live" in The Spring, thanks to its fashion shows and programmes.  Later this afternoon, I’ll have to go there again >_< no I’m not yet a "Springmania" and I hope I wouldn’t be or else all my salary will go there :~(

There are 2 more fashion shows on Sunday, so if you’re doing your shopping at The Spring and happen to see me there, do drop by and say hi to me okay? :D

De Spring

The_springAfter a long wait, the new shopping mall located at Jalan Simpang Tiga in Kuching had finally opened its gate to media yesterday.  According to source, its compound is bigger than the Boulevard but its shopping centre size is smaller than the latter one.

Img_6977There are altogether 155 shops including branded boutiques, food courts, watch shops, shoe shops, and etc. Today there will be 2 fashion shows — 2pm and 4pm respectively, and a hair inspiration show at 7pm at The Spring.  As much as I don’t like this idea but I have a feeling that somehow this new shopping mall will become my second home in the near future >_<

Happy New year way way belated! I’m so sorry for not updating this blog often, well there are plenty excuses I can come out with eheheh :P nevertheless, I’ll try (not promising) to update more often whenever I have time too~~

Mr_int_07
Let me see, a quick flash back of what I did last x’mas — I went to KL again and spent 5 days there with friends, and I had a blast time!  On the new year’s eve, I decided to give my "soon" returning to work a little warming up, so I attended the Mr. International competition even held at the Crown Riverside Hotel in Kuching.

(left pix: Mr Brazil performing catwalk during an evening dress show)

Yup, it’s a Mr not a Ms competition, altogether there were 16 contestants — namely Mr India, Korea, Canada, USA, Singapore, Latvia, Lebanon, Costa Rica, Egypt, Italy, Brazil and so on, vying for the Mr. International 2007 title.  The first Mr. Int was held in Singapore last year.

Rumors had it that, some of the contestants are ‘quare’ so I didn’t have much expectation before I attended the event.  Overall, every things turned out smooth and perfect! Out of the many cute hunks, my favourite contestant was Mr Greek (see second pix on the left). however, he didn’t make it to the champion, only salvage the 2nd-runner up title, not too bad.  While Mr Korean got the 1st runner-up and Mr Brazil, a 28-year-old banker, model cum actor was crowned the Mr. Int 2007.

I didn’t spend the rest of the night waiting for countdown with the rest, as I had another party waiting for me :) so end of the story.  Hope you all enjoyed your holidays as much as I did ~~ chao!

Merry X’mas Again!

A_scenic_view_of_the_resort_and_its_surr
Ho! HO! HOO!  Merry X’mas in advance everybody!

Christmas still has a week to go, but I’m leaving for KL on Saturday so here’s my early x’mas wish to everyone :) have a very merry x’mas time spending with your family and friends!

Since 2008 is just about 2 weeks from now, so I here is a quick flashback of what I did in 2007 :P let me see…I met new people every now and then, didn’t have time to build up network with new friends, nor did I have time to catch up with old friends *ya, I know I’m a terrible friend!* then, there there was the never ending deadlines at work, a number of oversea assignments — to Macao, Shanghai and Beijing, I got to learn something new everyday.  Also, I went to Hong Kong and KL twice for leisure :X canceled Thailand’s trip, then what else? Didn’t have time to update my blogs regularly, miss many friends especially when x’mas is near.

nO no:X I don’t want to plan for 2008 just yet, would like to do some reading apart from catching up with friends.  Hopefully, next year :) will be a better, brighter, more prosperous year ahead!

I’m sorry!

Nangjinlu_east1Hi everybody! Again I’ve to apology for not showing my face for quite a long time……I’ve forgotten about my sister’s birthday, didn’t know that Alvin’s heart-broken, I’ve no time to reply emails and I missed the chance to get together with Cathy and David’s when they last visited Kuching.  I"M TERRIBLY SORRY!!!!!!!!

Here…I’ll make it up to all of you with my photos…no don’t expect me to write much as I’ve many deadlines after me though I have submitted several this morning. :X so I"m afraid that you just have to bear with me eheheh :P never mind lah, picture says thousand words right? :) so save your time to read too eheheh, enjoy!

I’m goin to China

Visit Cheng Huang Miao, EE factory in Shanghai, then arrive Beijing on 11 Oct, Free and easy at Wangfujin on the first night, visiting the Forbidden City, Tian an men Square, Temple of Heaven, then Free & easy at Yaxiu Market, Acrobatics Show, more shopping at Yuexiu market…reading these long list of tourist sight-seeing places make my forehead scowls like railway track M=I and feels dull…

After having a fun and exciting trip in HongKong, KL and Macao in May, Jun and August respectively this year, I’m not sure what to expect from Shanghai and Beijing, they feel like way too "easternise" and …"historical" and ehhhh…."boring" are all the terms I can come up with for the time being as I thought of going there next Monday for assignment :(

So far I had only visited Yun Nang Province of China, and that’s it! I was told that ShangHai is the Paris of Asia, and Beijing is much bigger and more metropolitan than Hongkong … I’m yet to witness the two cities with my own eyes :X so hard to tell.  I suppose it’s not the cities that i’m scowling at but the "tourist" schedule but then again it’s work so I’ll see.
