My Restaurant is located at Samajaya Commercial Centre, right opposite the Sakura Hostel (near Toko Electronic Factory). I’ve its name-card but can’t find it at the moment, I’ll try to look for it and upgrade later.
Chef Walter Josef Frostl is an Austrian, and he married a local woman, that’s why he stayed in Sarawak for more than 12years now (16 years in M’sia). My Restaurant, belongs to Chef Walter and his wife Angela, specializes in serving PORK dishes (70% of their dishes are made of PORK).
A few weeks ago, we (my colleagues, their friends and me) had a dinner there and we ordered 11 dishes for 9 people!! We’d recommend its Chop, Chop Chop — (Chicken, Pork and Bacon Chop) at RM24 per dish. Shi Qiu and I preferred the BBQ Pork Ribs, and Shan Yi enjoyed the Chef’s specialty — Pork Knuckle RM50 per dish, and you’ve to call in advance to order this dish, however it’s not of my liking. All of us liked its Three Layer Luncheon Pork, it may looks greasy but once it’s inside your mouth, it tastes differently ~~ juicy, chewy and fresh!
As for the restaurant’s interior decoration, it’s simple and cosy; particularly good for friend and family gathering. If you’re a piggy fan, i’m sure you’ll take notice of a piggy portrait that hangs above its open kitchen frame! Another thing I like about this place is that, it has no ADD Charges like most restaurants!!!
