Sakura Sarawak

Have you seen the beautiful Sakura Sarawak? I don’t know its scientific name just yet (too lazy to look it up), but the first time I encountered this babe was back in 3 years ago, when I did a story on the Borneo Highland. They have a whole mountain full of this plant! Imagine seeing a mountain morphine from green to pink and white when it comes to their blooming season — August to September.
Anyway, they’re very fragile and usually wouldn’t stay for more than 1 weeks, and worse if the weather’s windy. If you haven’t seen them, you might want to try your luck at the following areas:
1. Rumah Kudah Road that leads to Chung Hua Middle School No.3,
2. The round about on top of Chung Hua Middle School No.1 (near Kuching High),
3. Centre Road that leads to Civic Centre
4. Sekama Road (near Hong Leong Bank)
5. Simpang Tiga Road
This picture would look nicer if the sky gets darker, but too bad, I ran of patient and time.
